No previous experience of training is required, but those with previous training delivery experience will also find the course very beneficial and rewarding.Training Course Overview/Content:
By the end of the course, and after further training delivery experiences, participants will be able to do the following with the aid of their reference materials:Recognise the 6 critical things that must be done at the start of a course
Correctly identify 3 different learning styles
Leading others to learn through their senses
Demonstrate the ability to inspire learners with the 'Big Picture'
Demonstrate a capacity for empathy with learners through building rapport
Demonstrate the ability to motivate others by gaining buy-in before the start of a training event
Recognise the strategic role of the manager/trainer within their own organisation
Start planning strategies for overcoming barriers to learning
Set appropriate aims and objectives for training others
Produce an action plan template which they will use to monitor development of their learners
Correctly identify the steps for structuring course content
Begin planning individual training sessions
Link learning points effectively
Demonstrate the use of the 4 stages of 'the learning loop'
Demonstrate an ability to lead a discussion effectively
Begin using techniques for handling difficult situations - including objections
Start producing appropriate training materials
Demonstrate an awareness of the importance of evaluating training
Give at least 1 correct example of giving positive feedback to learners
Recognise the 4 critical things that must be done at the end of a course
