This course provides instruction on the functionality of
VERITAS NetBackup 6.x software. This VERITAS
NetBackup course is designed to give you knowledge of
the general principles of using NetBackup to develop and
implement a storage management strategy, including:
• Installing, configuring, and operating VERITAS
NetBackup
• Managing VERITAS NetBackup using the graphical
interfaces, commands, and scripts
• Providing service protection and recovery
• Using the Activity Monitor and logs to monitor
VERITAS NetBackup processes
• Tuning NetBackup for optimum performance in your
backup environment

Pre-Requisites:

Students should be familiar with the administration and

2000/2003 operating system.
