This course, designed for Oracle programmers and developers, provides practical experience in writing triggers, functions, procedures and packages. It also introduces some of the Oracle-supplied packages including DBMS_LOB for handling Large Objects.

Objectives:

By the end of this course, the delegate will be able to write and manage stored program units, implement package constructs and features and handle Large Objects programmatically.

This course covers the topics required for the Oracle Develop PL/SQL Program Units Examination #1Z0-101.

Together with the Oracle PL/SQL course, this course is suitable for delegates intending to sit the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Examination #1Z0-147.

Requirements:

Practical experience of Oracle SQL and SQL*Plus or iSQLPlus. This can be gained by attendance on the Pre-Requisite course. A good working knowledge of the fundamentals of the PL/SQL programming language are required.
