Training Course: Multiband Switch and Service Configuration (MSSC) v3.0
training course enquiry
Training Course Summary:
The Multiband Switch and Service Configuration (MSSC) class covers IGX switch configuration, administration, and service creation. MSSC currently addresses software release 8.5, while new IGX switches are installed with release 9.2. In this version, IGX hardware and software changes introduced with software release 9.2 have been incorporated. In addition, it now have a different lesson flow and "texture," based on our experience delivering the current version.Pre-Requisites:
Before attending this class, students should have in-depth knowledge of the service technologies offered by IGX switches, including voice, data, Frame Relay and ATM. In addition, knowledge of T carrier, E carrier and SONET/SDH transport technologies is required to administer IGX lines and trunks. Note that ATM, Frame Relay, data and voice prerequisite knowledge is generally standards-based, not Cisco hardware specific. For example, a detailed but generic voice class or source may be more pertinent to students than knowing how voice is implemented in the 3810.Who Should Attend:
The expected audience for the new version of MSSC, called MSSC 9 in this document, includes IGX network operators, administrators, network planners, and technical support staff. In addition, marketing staff and network solutions/integration staff will find the class useful. Like its predecessor, MSSC 9 is intended to develop both product understanding and hands-on skills in IGX operation, administration and service translation.Training Course Overview/Content:
