Develop your skills by setting up, using, monitoring, and troubleshooting a Federated Database environment. Learn the configuration for all supported DB2 UDB and DB2 Information Integrator data sources.Pre-Requisites:
You should complete:DB2 Family Fundamentals, either attend classroom course CF03U or study Courseware Package (CD-ROM) (CT3AV1 and CT3BV1)
Fundamentals of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence for Knowledge Management (CD-ROM) (DT03V1)
or understand the basic concepts of a relational database and its usage within a business. You should also be able to configure DB2 clients using the DB2 Configuration Assistant or manual means or be able to set up client/server connectivity for either Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases.
