This course provides an in-depth discussion of how to design and integrate Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server farms into an existing IT Environment. This is the second Citrix Certified Integrated Architect (CCIA) course.Pre-Requisites:
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 server deployments.Experience of administering a Citrix Metaframe XP environment

Course Content
Outline the benefits of server-based computing and identify key milestones in Citrix and server-based computing histories.
List licensing components and processes in a terminal server environment.
Identify key design considerations for terminal services architecture.
Describe the Citrix Independent Management Architecture (IMA) subsystems and communication processes, and define the Citrix MA Service.
Install and configure Citrix Nfuse Classic Servers
Configure and maintain published applications and user settings within NFuse Classic
Plan Secure application deployment using Citrix Secure Gateway
Install and configure Digital SSL Certificates
Install and configure and troubleshoot CSG services and components
Identify key design considerations for server farm architecture related to each of the major components.
Identify key design considerations for the Citrix Load Manager architecture.
Identify key design considerations for Citrix Resource Manager, Citrix Installation Manager and Citrix Network Manager.
Identify printing components and related architectural and communication processes related to network printing, client printing and Independent Computing Architecture printing.
Diagram and describe the communication processes related to driver replication, printer mapping, printer creation, printer importing and the universal print driver.
Identify key design considerations for printing in a Citrix MetaFrame environment.
Diagram the architecture and communication processes for server farm access using Win32 clients, Citrix NFuse Classic, Enterprise Services for NFuse, Citrix Secure Gateway and Citrix NFuse Elite.
