Training Course Summary:

This course provides the necessary foundation to fully utilize the power of Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server. This course covers installation and administration of Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server and Citrix ICA® clients in a variety of network environments. Learners receive in-depth training on using the management console for MetaFrame XP Presentation Server, configuring a MetaFrame XP Presentation Server farm and individual server settings, managing licensing and administering MetaFrame XP Presentation Servers.

Instructor Led Training course CTX-1222 Citrix MetaFrame XP for Windows Administration
eLearning course CTX-1225AW Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server: Feature Release 3 Update. Learners are provided with an eLearning voucher access code that enables registration in the eLearning course.

Pre-Requisites:

Delegates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server products.

Training Course Overview/Content:

Install Citrix® MetaFrame XP™ Presentation Server and Citrix ICA® clients in a variety of network environments
Recognise Citrix technologies including Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), Independent Management Architecture (IMA), client device licensing and SpeedScreen Latency Reduction
Identify the features and functions of the Management Console for MetaFrame XP Presentation Server
Configure MetaFrame XP Presentation server farms and individual server settings
Manage licenses and Administer MetaFrame XP Presentation Servers
Shadow users • Configure SpeedScreen Latency Reduction and new ICA connections
Utilise Load Manager and MetaFrame XP security features
Identify and configure new printer management features included with MetaFrame XP Presentation Server
and troubleshoot Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation servers
and troubleshoot Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation servers
