Training Course Summary:
This two-day course provides MetaFrame 1.8 administrators with technical training on the installation and administration of MetaFrame XP.Pre-Requisites:
While CTX-1210 will cover some of the same material as the CTX-1220 course, to attend CTX-1210 it is a pre-requisite that the students be proficient using MetaFrame 1.8.Training Course Overview/Content:
· Provide a general overview of Citrix technologies including Independent Management Architecture (IMA) and client device licensing.· Install Citrix MetaFrame XP and Citrix ICA Clients in a variety of network environments.
· Identify the features and functions of the Citrix Management Console, configure server farms, individual server settings and manage licenses.
· Understand the key features and functions of Load Manager and MetaFrame XP security.
· Install applications in the Citrix MetaFrame multi-user environment.
· Understand how Nfuse delivers applications to ICA Clients.
· Identify new printer management features included with MetaFrame XP.
· Provide key trouble-shooting skills for Citrix MetaFrame servers.
· Understand the capabilities available with MetaFrame XPe.
Qualifications:
This course is designed for CCAs who want to quickly update their existing skills to be proficient using the MetaFrame XP family of products. This course will prepare a student for the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) exam for MetaFrame XP.Other course you might also like
