Learn to tune the IBM DATABASE 2 Cluster relational database management system product and associated applications written for this environment for optimum performance. The performance issues affecting the design of the database and the design of applications using the database will be discussed, as well as the different database parameters that will greatly affect performance. You will also be introduced to different tools which can be used to assist monitoring and tuning the performance.Pre-Requisites:
Before taking this course, you should be able to administer a Cluster Server database system. These skills can be developed by taking DB2 Parallel Edition WorkshopWho Should Attend:
