Training Course Summary:
People who are required to make on-screen presentations or OHP slides with graphics and special effects should attend this 1 day course. It will allow you to discover PowerPoint’s advanced features and there will also be a Question and Answer troubleshooting session if required.Note: If there are features on the Beyond the Basics course that you would like to cover on this course then please do let us know so that we can reorganise the course outline.
Pre-Requisites:
Self taught users and those who have attended the PowerPoint Beyond the Basics course.Training Course Overview/Content:
Review of the Basic Principles:Slide Design – backgrounds, font type, bullets, colour schemes & transitions, Changing the Default Options, Slide Set-up, Set Up the Master, Using Bullets, Choosing & changing scheme colours, Adding a background/graphics to slides
Enhancing Slides:
Adding Sounds, Video/Movie, Clipart & Digital Camera Pictures, Copying Digital Camera Pictures on to your computer, Options for Movie & Sound Clips
Summary & expanding slides:
Creating summary and expanding slides.
Working with objects / flowcharts / clipart:
Selecting Objects, Using the Drawing Tools, Resizing, Copying, Moving, Aligning, Rotating, Scaling, Duplicating, Rotating & Flipping, Grouping Objects, Creating & Editing a Flowchart Diagram, Enhancing Objects/Shapes using Borders, Fills & Shading Patterns, Using Format Painter Command
Using Hyperlinks:
Creating, editing & removing a hyperlink, Creating a hyperlink to a slide, Web Page, Word & Excel
Using PowerPoint with other Office Programs:
Object linking & embedding, editing linked & embedded objects, exporting a presentation to Word
Saving Presentations:
Using the Pack & Go Wizard, Zipping Up Presentations, making the presentation smaller, Working with the Package for CD feature, Saving for the web
