The course provides a full understanding of SSADM®’s techniques for process specification and logical process design. It shows the way in which triggering events for functions are identified, and leads on to the detailed specification of both update and enquiry processes.

This course will enable course participants to:

Model the dynamic nature of the system using Entity Life Histories
Specify detailed processing using SSADM®’s Conceptual Process Modelling techniques.


Pre-Requisites:

The Foundation in SSADM®4+ course is an essential precursor and Data Modelling would be useful scene-setter.

The course is intended primarily for systems analysts / designers who wish to become familiar with SSADM®’s techniques for the specification and design of update and enquiry processing.
