Training Course Code: SS7
Training Duration: 2 days.
Price: £795

Training Course Summary:

Signalling System 7 (SS7 / C7) is the main architecture used for out-of-band signalling in digital telephone networks.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the ITU Signalling System No.7 (SS7 / C7), including the procedures for setting-up, managing and clearing down calls between users, C7 principles and higher level protocols.

The course covers current terminology, management and future applications, and is essential for delegates wanting to learn the basics of C7, its capabilities and its use.

Pre-Requisites:

Course 301: Introduction to Data Communitcations and Networking, or course 381: Introduction to Telephony, or equivalent experience in datacomms or networking, is a pre-requisite for this course.

Who Should Attend:

All telecommunications engineering staff responsible for planning, implementing, supporting or managing mobile or fixed-line telephone services.
