Training Course Summary:

Use Rational® SoDA® for Word to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for your software development projects. You will learn how to use standard templates and create customised templates that gather project information from other software development tools, including Rational Rose® and Rational® RequisitePro®, presenting information in text, graphics, and tables.

Recommended Experience
Students should be familiar with:

· Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or Microsoft® Windows NT®
· Microsoft® Word for Windows® 2000 or Microsoft® Word for Windows® 97
· The software development process

Who Should Attend:

Any member of the software development group who creates project documentation or project reports.

Training Course Overview/Content:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
· Describe the project documentation processes
· Explain the key concepts of using Rational SoDA for Word to create documentation
· Use the report and document template wizards that are shipped with Rational SoDA
· Generate reports and regenerate documents from existing templates
· Publish documentation on the Web
· Create and customise Rational SoDA templates
· Use integrations between Rational SoDA and other Rational tools to produce documentation
· Create graphics and tables in reports or documents
