Training Course Summary:

This highly practical course has been designed to provide the necessary information and guidance in order for delegates to be able to carry out workplace Risk Assessments and to list key Ergonomic measurements and principles. The course is highly participative and practically orientated towards carrying out Risk Assessments, working with behavioural change as a control measure. By the end of the course delegates will be able to carry out workplace Risk Assessments in to be appointed as Competent Persons, Appointed D.S.E. Assessors, Managers of Workstations & Home-workers and Manual Handling Risk Assessors.

What You Will Learn
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Discharge responsibilities placed upon them by company policy
Take personal responsibility for safety matters within their sphere of influence
Escalate those matters over which they have no control or have broader implications
Identify bad practice and confront it appropriately
Carry out local investigation of the causes of accidents, near misses and hazards
