Training Course Summary:
This course gives delegates a basic introduction on how to use Microsoft® Project ''Standard'' Version to create and manage a project plan. The course also looks at how to use the software to provide valuable information to check and communicate progress and to keep projects on track. (N.B. The “Standard’”version is intended for those project managers who do not need the ''Enterprise'' project management functionality).Although the course is still suitable for Microsoft® Project 2000 users, the course will use Microsoft® Project 2003 for demonstrative purposes.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Navigate your way around Microsoft® Project
Set up a new project in Microsoft® Project
Enter and modify tasks and task durations
Create dependencies between project tasks
Define and assign resources
Enter and track project progress
Produce default management reports.
Who Should Attend:
Suitable for individuals who need to create and manage project plans and resources using Microsoft® Project ‘Standard’ version. Delegates will need to have an understanding of project management, preferably with some experience of running projects and they should be looking for a thorough introduction to Microsoft® Project ‘Standard’ to support the management of their projects.
