Training Course Summary:

This three-day instructor led course is designed to teach you how to create rich application interfaces using ActionScript. The course also teaches how to use remote data retrieved via Flash Remoting in the interfaces. Note: This course has similar content to the Developing Rich Internet Applications with Flash MX course but is for ActionScript developers who are familiar with Macromedia Flash.This course is intended for experienced web developers using Macromedia Flash

Pre-Requisites:

Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:· Completion of MAC403, Macromedia Flash MX ActionScript, or equivalent knowledge.

Training Course Overview/Content:

Upon completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:

· Understand the use of objects in ActionScript, including classes, objects, properties and methods
· Create custom classes, and objects from those custom classes
· Create and manipulate data in arrays
· Use Flash components to build application interfaces
· Access remote data using server-side ActionScript
· Use Flash Remoting to retrieve and use data in Flash components
· Use the Flash DataGrid component with server-side data
· Create shared objects that persist in Flash
