Starting from a metaphorical piece of string, this seminar builds network technologies from the bottom up. Each layer in the network protocol stack is explained and the technologies to support it are explored. The seminar seeks to provide a deep understanding of networking concepts, and thereby provide a foundation for all forms of programming distributed systems.
