Training Course Summary:

Cisco Internet Service Node v2.1 (ISN) Deployment is an instructor-lead course that presents the topology of the product's three configuration models, and how to install, configure, and write scripts for each model. Lab exercises address the configuration of all product components as well as external components such as gateways, gatekeepers, and CallManager so as to properly interface with ISN. The course addresses ISN serviceability issues such as troubleshooting, redundancy, fail over, and remote monitoring.

Course Objectives

After completing this course the student should be able to:

Identify the correct ISN product model to meet the customer's requirements
Install and test ISN software
Fully configure and integrate ISN components as well as external components
Compose scripts to enable IVR functions
Configure the Node Manager to facilitate redundancy and failover
Identify and resolve trouble issues using ISN tools and logs.

Training Course Overview/Content:

Cisco Internet Service Node 2.1 (ISN) Deployment training provides the student with hands-on experience and knowledge of tasks typically performed during ISN 2.1 deployment. Students will learn ISN by applying technical lecture material to solutions-based ISN lab exercises.

This course focuses on the product overview, planning, design, installation, configuration and troubleshooting. The student will deploy an ISN system during classroom lab exercises. The course addresses scripting and script testing as the students create and test their own scripts. Classroom presentations include the use of deployment best practice templates based on a sample ISN installation.
