The Installation and Maintenance of Cisco Routers 11.3a (IMCR) course provides students with the theory and hands-on experience to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers in a network environment. The course primarily focuses on the hardware architecture and installation requirements aspect of currently shipping Cisco router products. The course length is four days.Pre-Requisites:
Students should have a working knowledge of internetworks, understand IP addressing, and Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP). Although Introduction to Cisco Router Configuration (ICRC) course is not a prerequisite, students will benefit from having a prior basic understanding of the Cisco IOS Software command structure before attending IMCR.Who Should Attend:
Technicians, support analysts, and maintenance managers who have extensive hands-on internetworking experience and are responsible for desgining, maintenance sparing, network analysis, troubleshooting, and repairing of Cisco Systems products.Training Course Overview/Content:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:• Identify Cisco router products.
• Create a valid router hardware configuration, using specific requirements.
• Install Cisco routers.
• Remove and replace field replaceable components of Cisco routers.
• Troubleshoot a malfunctioning Cisco router to the field-replaceable unit.
