Training Course Summary:
This five-day practical “hands-on” course will teach support newcomers the essentials of installing and troubleshooting all types of PC hardware
Pre-Requisites:
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:
• Completion of G001 - PC Fundamentals course or equivalent knowledge
• Ability to recognise the main components of a PC and different data media such as floppy disks and CD-ROM
• Have an understanding of DOS file conventions and directory structures
• Be familiar with Windows and Windows Applications
• Able to use Windows File Manager or Explorer
• Able to use the DIR, COPY, REN, DEL, MD, CD, RD commands
• Able to use the DOS editor to create text and batch files
• To be safety conscious and will adhere to all directions and instructions concerned with working with live equipment
