Training Course Summary:
This instructor led course will give delegates a full understanding of the skills and techniques required to install and support Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.This foundation course prepares newcomers to PC support and provides students with training in PC software installation and support skills.
Pre-Requisites:
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:• Completion of PC Fundamentals or equivalent knowledge
• Ability to recognise the main components of a PC and different data media such as floppy disks and CD-ROM
• Have an understanding of DOS file conventions and directory structures
• Be familiar with Windows and Windows Applications
• Able to use Windows File Manager or Explorer
• Able to use the DIR, COPY, REN, DEL, MD, CD, RD commands
• Able to use the DOS editor to create text and batch files
Who Should Attend:
This course is intended for newcomers to PC support and provides delegates with training in PC software installation and support skills.Note: There is a lot of content to be covered within this course, and therefore some evening study may be required.
