The Advanced Solstice Backup 6.x Planning, Tuning, and Troubleshooting course provides students with advanced Solstice Backup 6.x concepts and tasks, including advanced configuration, performance tuning, security issues, and troubleshooting in a cross-platform UNIX and Microsoft Windows NT/Windows 2000 environment. Students learn to plan, configure, and troubleshoot Solstice Backup software in an Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) environment, configure remote and shared devices, back up and recover clusters, and manage Solstice Backup software performance.

Pre-Requisites:

To succeed fully in this course, students should be able to:
Draw on one year or more experience with Solstice Backup 6.x
Draw on some Windows NT/Windows 2000 experience
