Training Course Summary:

The Sun Mainframe Batch Manager Software Administration course provides students with essential information and the skills to install, customize, and maintain the Sun Mainframe Batch Manager (MBM) software. Students are introduced to Sun MBM basic architecture, Sun MBM subsystem creation, MVS or VSE JCL job and procedure translation, batch program compilation, and Sun MBM batch job submisssion.

Pre-Requisites:

To succeed fully in this course, students should be able to have taken the following courses or equivalent:
Demonstrate advanced system administration skills with mainframe computers
Understand and use MVS or VSE JCL
Understand batch COBOL programming
Demonstrate Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network administration skills

Who Should Attend:

Students who can benefit from this course are system administration, support and maintenance staff, and systems analyst staff who need to know how to use and troubleshoot the Sun Mainframe Rehosting Software Suite.
