The Accelerated CCSE NGX course is an in-depth,
two-day class giving you the critical knowledge and
hands-on experience needed to implement the NGX
platform and achieve NGX certification.

Pre-Requisites:

Delegates should hold CCSE NG certification.

Who Should Attend:

Check Point Certified Security Experts (CCSE) on NG
with Application Intelligence, who want to gain the
skills and experience to pass the CCSE NGX exam and
earn CCSE NGX certification.

Training Course Overview/Content:

Objectives
• Use NGX upgrade tools and SmartUpdate to
upgrade to NGX, from VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG or VPN-
1 NG with Application Intelligence.
• Use advanced NGX features to minimize the information-
security management burden, when working
with objects and rules.
• Use SmartView Monitor to display information about
an NGX deployment, given a variety of scenarios.
• Given a variety of Check Point QoS configurations,
determine how to allocate bandwidth.
• Identify different modes in ClusterXL configuration,
and configure ClusterXL and Smart Center HA.
• Configure NGX to support LDAP/AD integration,
given specific business requirements.
