Training Course Summary:
This two-day instructor led course begins with an overview of the switching and VLAN concepts that support the use of network switching devices. The course moves quickly to demonstrating how these concepts are implemented in the features and functions of Bay Networks closet switching products such as BayStack 303/304, 350, 450 and the 5660/5665 modules used in the 5000S chassis.Pre-Requisites:
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:· Completion of Fundamentals of IP Networking Self-study.· Completion of Fundamentals of SNMP Self-study.· Completion of High Speed Networking Solutions Self-study.Training Course Overview/Content:
Upon completion of this course, the delegate will be able to:· Describe the hardware, functions and applications of Bay Networks Closet high speed connectivity and frame switching products.
· Design, install, configure and maintain high speed networks using Bay Networks frame switching products.
· Isolate network connectivity problems and devise solutions using Bay Networks products BayStack 304/304, 350, 450 and Modules 5660/5665 for the 5000S chassis.
Qualifications:
