Pre-Requisites:
Because this is an advanced hands-on course requiring you to efficiently configure and verify network functions, you are expected to possess the following prerequisite skills and knowledge:Considerable knowledge in hierarchical design principles including network protocols, addressing, and subnets
Knowledge of network management principles and tools
Knowledge of MIB, Syslog, and command-line interface (CLI) data collection methods
Ability to efficiently use CLI to perform Cisco IOS Software configurations
Ability to configure and optimize dynamic routing protocols, in particular Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) Protocol, Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS) Protocol, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Ability to configure quality-of-service (QoS) features using Modular QoS CLI (MQC) interface
Completion of the following reading assignments:
