Training Course Summary:

Health & Safety Executive recommended, non-assessed course. This is the minimum level of First Aid training for the workplace, appropriate for low-risk environments or for those acting in the absence of a fully qualified First Aider.

Course Duration: 1-Day

Course Content:
Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid subjects, including:

Aims and Principles of First Aid
Action at an Emergency
Basic Life Support
Management of the Unconscious Casualty
Assessment and treatment of a casualty who is wounded, bleeding or shocked
Assessment and treatment of fractures, dislocations and soft tissue injuries
Assessment and treatment of burns
Course Outcome:
On completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance to the standard of Emergency First Aid for Appointed Person. Certificates are issued approximately 2 - 4 weeks after the completion date of the course.
