Training Course Summary:
The 995 course builds a foundation of knowledge for understanding Directories. The course explains what Directories are and why they are needed. It gives a history of the evolution of Directories, including their relationship to X.500 and LDAP. It also examines three types of Directory technology; Netscape Directory Server, Microsoft Active Directory, and NDS eDirectory. Note: Students should take course 995 prior to taking course 991, Advanced NDS Tools and Diagnostics.Pre-Requisites:
• CNEs who have taken either course 529 or 570, OR• MCSEs who have taken either courses 910 and 575, or Microsoft 1561 or 1579 and Novell 575 OR
• Cisco Certified Internetworking Experts or Cisco Certified Networking Professionals or IBM
• Certified Specialists who have taken either 560 and 575, or Microsoft 1561 or 1579 and Novell 575
