Training Course Summary:
Part I-Application Management-will provide learners with the concepts and skills necessary to implement ZENworks for Desktops 3 (ZfD 3) with a focus on the application management features of ZfD 3. Learners also receive hands on experience leveraging NDS to use the ZfD application management components (i.e., Application Launcher, Snapshot, Microsoft Installer, and Directory Enabled Disk Imaging). This course does not address ZfD version upgrades or feature difference issues between ZfD 3.0 and prior versions of ZfD. Part II will provide learners with the concepts and skills necessary to implement the policy management features of ZfD 3. Learners also receive hands on experience leveraging NDS to use the ZfD policy management components (i.e., user/workstation/server/container policies, Inventory, Reporting, and Remote Management components). This course does not address ZfD version upgrades or feature difference issues between ZfD 3.0 and prior versions of ZfD.Pre-Requisites:
• Basic understanding of personal computers, operating systems & network technology• Experience with DOS
• Working knowledge of Windows 95/98, Windows NT or Windows 2000
• 520 and 525 OR
• 560 and 570
