This three-day instructor-led course provides in-depth knowledge on designing, configuring, implementing security, and managing Windows Mobile 6.After completing this course, students will be able to:
• Identify the components of a Windows Mobile infrastructure.
• Plan the server infrastructure to support Windows Mobile.
• Configure Exchange Server 2007 for Windows Mobile.
• Configure the security framework for Windows Mobile.
• Manage enterprise security for Windows Mobile.
• Provision Windows Mobile devices.
• Configure network connectivity on Windows Mobile devices.
• Manage synchronization options for Windows Mobile devices
• Manage applications on Windows Mobile devices
Pre-Requisites:
Before attending this course, students must have:• 2-3 years of experience in installing, configuring and managing Exchange Server
• Basic knowledge about the features of Exchange Server 2007
• Basic knowledge about the features of SQL Server 2005
• One year of experience in installing, configuring, and managing Exchange Server in an Active Directory environment
• One year of experience in working with Windows Server 2003 (including TCP/IP and DNS)
• Working experience (one year or more) with Active Directory Directory Service
• Familiarity with the following mobile and general network security concepts:
• Firewalls
• Reverse proxy
• Certificates
• Basic knowledge of Security protocols such as EAP, TLS, WPA, WEP, and 802.1x
• Familiarity in using mobile e-mail devices
Who Should Attend:
The audience for this course includes people with two or more years experience working with previous versions of Exchange Server. Most students will have basic knowledge about Exchange Server 2007 and will have managed enterprise-level Exchange Server organizations. Students are expected to be new to participating in designing Windows Mobile solutions for Exchange Server 2007 or be planning to design a Windows Mobile 6.0 infrastructure for Exchange Server 2007 in the near future. Students may have done some mobility deployment for Exchange Server 2003 but want to learn how to deploy Windows Mobile 6 in the Exchange Server 2007 environment.Training Course Overview/Content:
