Training Course Summary:

With NetWare 5, the core protocol for NetWare is now TCP/IP or IPX with deference to TCP/IP. The NetWare 5 CNE curriculum recognized this change and incorporated some of the concepts from the older 605 course into the core CNE classes. Understanding how to use TCP/IP on a NetWare 5 network is critical to successfully using the NOS, especially for NetWare 3 and 4 CNEs who tend to be familiar only with IPX.

Pre-Requisites:

• Novell Course 1400: The Novell Guide to Network + OR
• Novell Course 565: Networking Technologies OR
• Microsoft Course 688: Internetworking Microsoft TCP/IP on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
• CNE Certification
