This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, configure and administer a complex network. The course is designed to provide students with an advanced skill set and abilities to handle more challenging network situations than were presented in the NetWare 5.1 Administration course.

Pre-Requisites:

• NetWare 5.1 Administration
• Networking Technologies
• Plan, implement & manage the basic network services on a small NetWare 5 network

When you complete this course, you will be able to:
• Install NetWare 5.1 and NLS, and determine which management tools to use.
• Use the server console to control and manage a NetWare server.
• Build a TCP/IP network using NetWare 5.1
• Build an Internet infrastructure using NetWare 5.1
• Manage Novell Certificate Server.
• Setup a Novell Storage Service (NSS) file system
• Manage and optimize a NetWare 5.1 server.
• Maintain Novell Directory Services.
• Migrate from IPX to IP.
• Backup and restore NetWare 5.1 server.
