Training Course Summary:
This five-day instructor led course focuses on the new features unique to NetWare 6 and is designed to provide delegates with comprehensive experience and education on the value propositions of NetWare 6. Delegates will see the high availability and scalability of the product, which means they will get their hands on the clustering and storage capabilities of the product. Delegates will also learn the “anywhere, anytime” access features of NetWare 6. These include hands-on experience with NetWare 6 user access products: iFolder, iPrint, NFAP, NetWare Web Access. These also include the web-based management products that ship with NetWare 6: iManage, Remote Manager, and iMonitor. This course gives delegates hands-on experience with NetWare 6 installation, upgrade, migration, and deployment tasks and strategies. Delegates will also learn to upgrade to eDirectory 8.6.Pre-Requisites:
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:· NetWare 5 CNE or equivalent experience and already familiar with IPX to IP migration.· Know how to integrate NetWare and NDS with other operating systems such as Windows NT or UNIX.Training Course Overview/Content:
Upon Completion of this course the delegate will be able to:· Install, Configure, and Deploy NetWare 6.
· Upgrade and Migrate to NetWare 6.
· Introduction to eDirectory 8.6.
· Configure and Use NetWare 6 Administration Components.
· Configure and Use Novell Storage Services.
· Configure and Use NetWare 6 User Access Components.
· Evaluate, Design, and Implement an NCS High Availability Solution.
