The goal of this course is to provide students with the relevant and specific content they need to install, implement, administer, deploy applications on, and optimize performance of Microsoft Small Business Server.Pre-Requisites:
Before attending this course, students must have:• Working knowledge of a Microsoft operating system, including Microsoft Windows® 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows 95.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts, such as sharing resources, creating user accounts, and assigning permissions.
• Working knowledge of major networking components, including client computers, servers, local area networks (LANs), network adapter cards, drivers, and client/server software and communication devices (xDSL, cable modems, and analog modems).
• Working knowledge of computer hardware components, including computer memory, hard disks, CPUs, communication and printer ports, display adapters, and pointing devices.

• Plan for and install Microsoft Small Business Server 2000.
• Add network users and client computers.
