The goal of this course is to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to design a Microsoft Windows® .NET directory services infrastructure in an enterprise network.Pre-Requisites:
Before attending this course, students must have:Successfully completed Course 2270, Updating Support Skills from Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0 to Microsoft Windows .NET or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
Or
Successfully completed Course 2154, Implementing and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services or have equivalent knowledge and skills.
Who Should Attend:
This course is intended for information technology (IT) professionals responsible for designing the Windows .NET-based directory services infrastructure for their organization. Typically, these individuals provide the following functions:Review data identifying customer requirements and incorporate data into the directory services design
Use business goals to drive technology design and implementation
Identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements
Identify or review network architecture, topology, interdependencies, and constraints
Evaluate the impact of the design on each dependant component
Plan and document system and network configurations
This course is not necessary for people who have attended Course 1561, Designing a Microsoft Windows® 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure.
Qualifications:
This course helps you prepare for the following Microsoft Certified Professional exam:Exam 70-219: Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure.
