Training Course Summary:

This one-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio® Tools for Office. This learning product assumes that the .NET developer has an awareness of the Office application object models.

Pre-Requisites:

Before attending this course, students must have:

• Experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development environment.

• Experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 or 1.1.

• Experience using either Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET or Microsoft Visual C#® .NET.

• Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.

• Some awareness of the Word and Excel object models.

Who Should Attend:

This course is intended for existing Visual Studio .NET application developers with Office development experience. A secondary audience consists of existing .NET solution developers.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

• Use Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System.

• Develop Visual Studio Tools for Office solutions for Word 2003.

• Develop Visual Studio Tools for Office solutions for Excel 2003.

• Secure, deploy, and update Visual Studio Tools for Office solutions.
