This course provides students with an understanding of the Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) and CDO Rendering libraries. Using this understanding, they will be able to create powerful collaboration applications using the Microsoft Visual Basic® programming system and/or active server pages (ASP).Pre-Requisites:
Before beginning this course, students should be able to:Basic experience with Visual InterDev
Strong familiarity with:
Visual Basic or Visual Basic Scripting Edition
Active server pages
Training Course Overview/Content:
At the end of the course, students will be able to:Describe the functionality of the CDO libraries.
Describe and use the ASP object model.
Create and debug server-side scripts.
Create and distribute powerful collaboration solutions built using the Microsoft Visual InterDev® Web development system, CDO, Visual Basic Scripting Edition, and ActiveX® controls.
